Laura Kok takes stunning self-portraits, where the amazing and often very creative composition and soft yet crisp quality affects me every time I look at one of them. Her beautiful face does most of the job, naturally, but it's the way they are all done that impresses me the most. She inspires me to think that close-up self-portraits doesn't necessarily have to be cheesy, they can be wonderful pieces of art as well as all other photography.



Her diptychs are some of the best diptychs I've seen, giving a mood that could only been given with those two particular photos that she uses. The photos would have been beautiful alone, but it is the way they are done together that blows you away.
